A collection of animal themed poetry which has appeared in the 'Wallaby Bruce' book series of Australian animal fantasy stories: 'Wallaby Bruce in the Siege of Sydney (2019), ' 'Bruce, the Kangaroo Rider in the Ayerstone-Opal Expedition (2020), ' 'The Platypus Spy' (2021), and 'Mortal Wombat' (2023). These are set in an alternate Australia which animals have taken over. The poetry is gathered together into one volume for those who want to read the poetry on its own, while it also includes some surrounding context from the original books. While many of the creatures involved are marsupials, there are also others such as platypuses which are monotremes, along with many more Australian fauna.
