The Fifth Corner: Issue No. 2 - Summer 2026 is a Canadian literary journal dedicated to publishing exceptional contemporary dark fiction, literary horror, and speculative literature from emerging and established voices around the world.This issue presents six original works of fiction, accompanied by an original commissioned art portfolio by Australian artist Attia Hayee. It also celebrates emerging writers under the age of eighteen, recognizing exceptional young literary talent alongside internationally published authors.Included in this issue is CODA, featuring the winning poem of the inaugural Coda Poet Prize, and Afterimage, a unique collaborative work created from the concluding reflections of each contributor, woven together into a single curated poem that closes the issue.Published by The Fifth Corner Literary Society, the journal is committed to literary excellence and original artwork.
