December Lights

December Lights: Bilingual European Spanish-English Christmas Stories for Kids is part of a 52-story reading system designed to help children discover European Spanish naturally through enjoyable stories.Set in a small Spanish town during December, these four gentle, connected stories follow Lucía as she notices the little things that make the Christmas season special: glowing lights in the plaza, homemade turrón, an unexpected package and the warm windows of the neighbourhood at night.Along the way, children encounter familiar places, food, family life and festive traditions from Spain, all woven naturally into the stories rather than presented as lessons. The four stories gradually move from accessible A2 reading towards more confident A2, with repeated everyday vocabulary, simple dialogue and increasingly varied sentences. Past events and new language are introduced naturally through context, allowing children to build their reading confidence without drills, vocabulary lists or grammar explanations.Warm, atmospheric and gently humorous, December Lights: Bilingual European Spanish-English Christmas Stories for Kids is designed to make Spanish reading feel like a story first and language learning second.
