Sofia Vasquez-Marin has spent sixteen years as a keeper-vigilantly monitoring the seals that bind the vast, dreaming consciousness beneath the earth. Her routine is precise: dawn meditations, perimeter checks, constant awareness of the low thrumming in her bones that tells her the ancient entities remain contained.

But containment is an illusion.

During a routine morning run through Ibirapuera Park, Sofia's vision fractures. She finds herself in an Arizona desert, staring at a stone door-no frame, no hinges-unfolding in the empty earth like a flower made of night. When the vision shatters, she returns to find her keeper-scars not just warm, but shifting-reacting with unfamiliar, angular symbols that pulse like alien circuitry beneath her skin.
