She paints animals with goggles and wings, and creatures that never existed. Sometimes the titles come first, sometimes after, and that's where the fun starts. This book is a collection of those paintings. Steampunk elephants, sci-fi beasts, and whimsical nonsense that makes you smile. She wrote a haiku for each one because even a mechanical bird deserves a little poetry. She spent most of her life teaching art in Syracuse, NY. Now she spends her time making her own art.
