Citizens' property insurance

The main purpose of insurance is to protect the interests of the insured upon the occurrence of various adverse events at the expense of insurance reserves formed by insurers from the paid insurance premiums. Insurance provides social and economic stability in society, as it guarantees the owners compensation for loss of or damage to property and loss of income. Modern market society is impossible to imagine without insurance as a special type of economic relations. There is a direct link between the level of public welfare, the degree of development of market relations and the level of insurance development. In countries that are world leaders in social and market relations (USA, Japan, European countries and others) insurance is one of the most stable and dynamically developing sectors of national economy. The economic and financial purpose of property insurance for citizens is to compensate for damage resulting from an insured event due to loss, damage or partial loss of insured property. Most insurance companies in the Republic of Belarus are licensed for this type of service.
