Artikelbeschreibung

The book is to highlight the changing concentrations/ interactions/ relationships of few bio-molecules viz. calcium, cholesterol, estradiol and Vitamin D3 in serum, ELF and in male gamete along with pH of the epididymal micro-environment that brought about biochemical and bio-physical changes in the post-testicular life of spermatozoa during their transport through the epididymal regions resulting in induction/initiation of motility. The VDR gene expression established the importance of VD in sperm maturation in epididymis. Further, prediction equations developed statistically through Curve Fit Regression Equations helped in early diagnosis of idiopathic causes of male infertility to provide appropriate treatment modalities at the earliest to ameliorate the cause(s) of infertility.
