The Floorboard Flicker

In Diego's house, the walls don't just have ears-ils have memories. And they're starting to bleed through.Thirteen-year-old Diego has spent his whole life listening to the sighs and groans of his family's old home. But the familiar symphony is changing. The sunlight has turned "jaundiced," and a "subtle shift in the air" hums with an ominous static. Beneath the floorboards, a sentient, amorphous darkness known as the "Flicker" is waking up. Born from the deep despair of a tragic ancestor named Elias, the entity is no longer content to stay in the shadows. To save his home, Diego must descend into the "architecture of grief" and face a monster made of his own family's history.
