Full length Play, Comedy, ContemporaryCast: 4M, 3FLewis and Nick have both been married to the glamorous Amelia who cleaned them out, consecutively.Lewis, a once popular author, sensitive and given to sudden mood changes, now lives in poverty in his empty New York penthouse. Nick is made of sterner stuff and after comparing bank accounts with Lewis, employs his Mafia connections to put a hit on Amelia.Into the mix, a predatory widow from Lewis's building sets her sights on Lewis, while Nick's on-again-off-again fiancée urges him towards marriage. The plot spirals into a convolution of fraud, mistaken identity, romantic entanglements, and attempted murder against the backdrop of Valentine's Day, a day ironically marked by betrayal, revenge and longing for love.
