M. Katherine Tolbert, DVM, PhD, DACVIM, has been practicing veterinary endoscopy for 14 years. As her appointment allows her the ability to "sub-specialize in small animal gastroenterology, she has developed expertise in the field of flexible endoscopy with a particular focus in gastrointestinal endoscopy examinations and procedures. Dr. Tolbert is well-published in her field with 47 peer-reviewed publications and 11 textbook chapters including Elsevier's Textbook of Small Animal Internal Medicine, Current Veterinary Therapy, and Clinical Veterinary Advisor: Dogs & Cats. She will bring together a team of co-authors to generate a guidebook that will be useful to both veterinary practitioners and specialists as well as the veterinary support staff. Dr. Tolbert also is a major contributor to Elsevier's best-selling Textbook of Veterinary Internal Medicine.
