Various Styles of Removable Partial Dentures

In the field of removable partial prosthodontics, more careful planning and consideration are necessary for a satisfactory result than in any other area of dentistry. The process of choosing the best prosthesis can occasionally be quite complicated due to the large range of combinations of missing and standing teeth, the various prosthodontic treatment options accessible, and the diversity of needs unique to each patient. Other types of detachable partial dentures may need to be taken into consideration in certain scenarios, but in most cases, the traditional extra coronal clasp held removable partial dentures may be advised. Regardless of the intended function, the fundamentals of design and construction hold true.
